This design is inspired by my mermaid name I like to go by, Mermaid Nautillus and artwork done by artist Sharon Cummings called 'Nature's Perfection'. It was such a lovely painting of the inside of a nautilus shell. I fell in love with all the vibrant color. The colors represent the happiness and joy of being a mermaid. I added side and back fins. I just love the added flow that it gives to the look of a tail.
